CREATE in Full
CREATE in Full Conference
Thu 28 May 2026 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM The Royal Armouries, LS10 1LT
You are warmly invited to ‘CREATE in Full’, the final dissemination conference for the three‑year UKRI‑funded Project CREATE, taking place on 28th May 2026 at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. Co-created and co-hosted with our Young Persons’ Advisory Group (YPAG), this event brings together researchers, young people, practitioners, and partners to celebrate and reflect on what we’ve learned. CREATE in Full will showcase the project’s key outputs and insights, including:
– Creative and research outputs developed throughout CREATE, presented with and by YPAG members
– Our Living Lab methodologies, and how they’ve enabled meaningful, creative, transdisciplinary, youth‑centred participatory research in adolescent mental health and loneliness research.
– Reflections and practical lessons for participatory research, including challenges, innovations, and what we hope others can build on
Alongside the above, CREATE in Full will also ask: So what?
What is the impact of this research? What can we expect going forward? And how can we take these learnings into wider networks and agencies to continue to do deliver on the promise “nothing about me, without me”. The day will feature interactive sessions, creative demonstrations, panel conversations, and opportunities to connect with others committed to participatory, ethical, and youth‑informed research and mental health. We would be delighted to welcome you as we explore the CREATE journey in full—its insights, creativity, and the voices of the young people who shaped it.
