London Local Authorities & Connected Communities

Date of event: Monday, 9th June 2025 Local authorities play a crucial role in addressing loneliness and social isolation within their communities. The in-person event, exclusively for London Local Authorities, was hosted by the Tackling Loneliness Hub and Neighbourly Lab in collaboration with Hub Advisor Helayna Jenkins from Bromley Council with the focus on the role of London Local Authorities in building connected communities and tackling loneliness. As part of Loneliness Awareness Week 2025, this event brought together councils, voluntary sector leaders and more from across London to discuss ‘what works’ in building connected communities and tackling loneliness.
