The new Tackling Loneliness Hub Advisors

We’re delighted to announce the new group of advisors for the Tackling Loneliness Hub.

Our Advisors will play an active role in supporting the hub and its members by strengthening our presence beyond our community, hosting special events, sharing their insights on the hub, and by being on hand to advise our members in their specialist areas.

Each advisor brings with them a wealth of experience and passion to support the Hub’s vision, offering fresh perspectives and valuable guidance to our community.

The advisory team & their specialist areas are:

Alison Iliff: Public Health & Health Inequalities.

Alison is a Health & Wellbeing Programme Lead at OHID & brings extensive expertise in public health, focusing on preventative strategies and community well-being

Helayna Jenkins: Local Government and Public Health

As principal Loneliness Champion for LB Bromley, Helayna is dedicated to creating innovative solutions to combat loneliness at a grassroots/local level & implements ‘Tackling Loneliness’ strategies in LB Bromley by delivering workshops to 100’s of Loneliness champions across the borough and beyond.

Kate Jopling:Tackling Loneliness Ecosystem.

Kate is an independent consultant with over 15 years of experience working within ‘Loneliness’, Kate wrote the Jo Cox Commission report & draws on her experience working across the voluntary, community and public sectors to support organisations to influence policy, improve their practice and develop strategy, primarily in the fields of ageing, health and care and connection.

Sarah Mitton: Housing

Head of Customer Engagement at Sovereign Network Group, Sarah combines her social housing expertise with a passion for building stronger communities where people feel they have a voice and are connected to their neighbours.

Will Fletcher: Civil Society and VCFOs.

Interim CEO of the Jo Cox Foundation, Will brings a deep understanding of policy and advocacy, championing initiatives that address loneliness and promote social cohesion.
