Welcome Back to the Hub

Dear Hub Members,

Thank you for being an essential part of our growing community which has reached nearly 1,000 members of professionals in research and academia, charities, government, think-tanks and more – all dedicated to addressing loneliness across England.

The Hub has been quiet over the past few months with summer, elections and a transition to a new team at the helm of the Tackling Loneliness Hub. But here’s the exciting news – we’re now picking up the pace and in the coming weeks and months you can look forward to; fresh content, engaging & useful networking events featuring guest speakers and fellow-practitioners, plus opportunities to share insights on what you need from the Hub to power you in your work on tackling loneliness.

The new team running the Hub are Neighbourly Lab and Sheffield Hallam University’s Centre for Loneliness Studies, which is also the new home of the Campaign to End Loneliness. Neighbourly Lab is a research and innovation organisation that focuses on social-connectedness and loneliness-prevention; whilst the Centre for Loneliness Studies offers an innovative, multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach to loneliness and evaluation.

We’re looking forward to meeting you and supporting your invaluable efforts in tackling loneliness. If you have any questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thanks and see you soon!
